Dumore Motors specializes in custom motion solutions for OEMs that demand more than off-the-shelf performance. Current customers wanted to introduce their product in Europe. The challenge: our motors had to meet certain regulatory requirements and our DM30 could not meet them. One of the only ways to meet them was to design a new brushless motor. We were able meet with our partners to design collaborate and design a motor that will work and outperform their current design. This project was beginning of the launch of our first brushless motor platforms. We are now in the works of tooling up for us to manufacture these motors in the future.
Customer approached Dumore with new requirements for a cable reel winder for a solar powered portable fence trailer. Motor had to produce high torque, compact, budget friendly and able to withstand harsh weather conditions. Dumore put together a proposal of a DP125, which checked all the requirements. Our motor solution has been implemented and it is performing flawlessly.
Customer needed a high-speed motor to power a blower fan. The blower fan was to work in junction with a spreader to evenly distribute seed, therefore the current draw had to be minimal. Dumore was able find a solution by customizing a DM28 motor platform to meet the size and voltage draw requirements.
Customer was developing a new automatic ice bagging machine. Our customer’s challenge was, they needed 5 different motors to perform completely different tasks; however, each of motors also needed to be similar in performance to only purchase one part number. Dumore designed a DR250 which met was able exceed the performance requirements for each of the 5 different applications. Our solution streamlined the ordering the process and installation at the customers facility.
Customer came to us to build a motor that was more powerful than their current provider’s motor as they wanted a higher-pressure pump. Tooling for the casing had already been kicked off; therefore, Dumore had some tight limitations. AM equipment and Dumore had just joined Magneto Movement. Using the expertise of both engineering groups came up with a series of solutions. Our solution was able to use a customized platform with a gearbox that Dumore designed to achieve the required speed and torque in the smallest package possible.
